As the founder of Mint Financial Strategies, she creates customized wealth strategies to help you reach your goals and manage your financial future. She is passionate about lifelong education and holds several registrations, including a General Securities Representative (Series 7), an Investment Company Products/ Variable Contracts Principal (Series 26), and a Uniform Securities Agent (Series 63 and Series 66) all held with LPL Financial. She also has an insurance license for the state of Colorado.
Jody is also a Certiﬁed Wealth Strategist® (CWS®). She graduated from this holistic, comprehensive educational program that uses a blended learning approach and capstone project to better serve her high net-worth clients and understand complex client issues. She also added a Certiﬁed Retirement Counselor® (CRC®) to her list of credentials. This expanded her education in retirement accumulation, retirement readiness, retirement plan management, and retirement income planning. Jody is also an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®). This designation represents a thorough knowledge of and ability to apply the ﬁduciary practices. Fiduciaries are held to the highest standards of acting in their clients’ best interests.
While her credentials offer in-depth knowledge of financial management and retirement planning, Jody’s personalized approach and ability to connect with her clients truly set her apart. She takes the time to understand each client’s unique needs and goals, and then builds a detailed plan that evolves along with the client’s lifelong milestones.
In Mint Financial Strategies’ founding year of 2014, Jody was recognized as a Five Star Professional Wealth Manager. Every consecutive year since then, Jody has received this honor. The award is based on ten objective criteria such as credentials, experience, and assets under management, among other factors. Wealth managers do not pay a fee to be considered or placed on the final list. She is now a ten-year recipient of the award.
Jody graduated from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln with a bachelor’s degree in Finance. Outside of work, she is very passionate about serving her community. Jody and her sister Jennifer Stenbak, a leading real estate agent, founded Women and Wealth, a group dedicated to providing financial education to women at all stages of their lives. She is also an active member of her church. Jody enjoys spending time with her husband, Mark, and their son, Charlie, exploring the Colorado outdoors and getting together with family. Her hobbies also include reading, gardening, and enjoying time with her family and new niece Dorothy.
