For nearly a decade, Charlene Laney, CFP®, has built her career in ﬁnance, serving clients from diverse backgrounds and with varying goals. As a Certiﬁed Financial Planner professional, Charlene takes meticulous care in understanding her clients’ needs, goals, and preferences. The guidance she provides is always in a ﬁduciary capacity, i.e., acting in the client’s best interest.
Over the years, Charlene has assisted many clients in transitioning into retirement with conﬁdence. She also loves addressing crucial ﬁnancial topics such as legacy planning, saving for college, insurance and risk management, planning for incapacity, and asset allocation.
Whatever the goal may be, Charlene is committed to being a long-term accountability partner for her clients and their goals.
Charlene graduated from Arizona State University (ASU) in Tempe, AZ, with a Bachelor degree in Communication. She also studied Mandarin Chinese language and culture through the Confucius Institute while at ASU and has a working fluency in Mandarin Chinese. Charlene is a General Securities Representative (Series 7), Uniform Securities Agent (Series 63 and 66), and a General Securities Sales Supervisor (Series 9 and 10) all currently held with LPL Financial. All of this coupled with being a Certiﬁed Financial Planner®, equips Charlene to handle clients’ investment needs and holistic ﬁnancial picture.
Outside of the office, Charlene dedicates her free time to her community’s mental and physical wellness—teaching yoga and ﬁtness classes at Yoga Pod a few times per week. She loves spending time outdoors, relaxing at home, cooking, and reading. She is married and has a cat and a dog.
